Sauveur (Sam) Lucido, 82, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on
October 28, 2016. Sam immigrated from Bizerte, Tunisia and married the love of his life,
Ida. He worked at the GM Tech Center. Sam spent his entire life helping others with
projects and loved to spend time with family and friends. He was fluent in four languages
and his hobby was raising canaries. He was a member of the Mazara del Vallo Italian club
and Chevrolet Engineering Retiree Club.
Loving husband of Ida for 56 years. Great father of Marie Skladd, Jeannine Somberg,
Marc (Michelle) Lucido and Louis (Ann) Lucido. Proud Grandpa of Nicholas, Marc, Dylan,
Simon, Jennifer, Lisa, Anthony, and Louis; Great Grandpa of Rosemary and brother of
Joe (Carol) Lucido. Preceded in death by his parents, Marco and Maria Lucido.
